How to read the UV Index
1–2 Low — Minimal protection. Sunglasses on bright days.
3–5 Moderate — Seek shade midday. SPF 30+, hat, sunglasses.
6–7 High — Protection essential. Reduce time in sun 10am–4pm.
8–10 Very high — Extra protection. Avoid midday sun where possible.
11+ Extreme — Unprotected skin burns quickly. Full protection.
